Anicus Lodge 67 hosted the first area conference in Western Pennsylvania over Labor Day Weekend at Camp Twin Echo in 1939. This was a "rehearsal" event for the following year's National Conference at Twin Echo. Frank Dingwerth indicates that Area E also met in 1940, but the details of that event are unknown.
