In 1958, a Region-wide conference was held at Greiner AFB. I have conflicting sources for the 1-A Conference also held that year, supposedly also held at Greiner AFB. One says the host was King Philip 195, while another says the host was Passaconaway 220, which actually makes more sense as Greiner AFB, now the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, is in New Hampshire. Neither of these source includes a date, but the patch says 1-A, and 1-B also held its own conference that year.

However, Jeff Barraclough recently sent a scan of an envelope (see below) that clearly describes a region-wide conference hosted by Passaconaway 220 Oct 31-Nov 1, 1958 at Greiner AFB. So, either it is for the same event, or these are two separate events that my sources mixed together. Without more information, I agree with Jeff that they must be two different events, with the 1-A conference held at perhaps some different location. I find it hard to believe that two different events, an area conference and a regional conference, were both held at a non-camp venue that same year. More research is needed.
