*The only sources for Nigucab Lodge 178 is the 1953 "Organizational Pattern and Local Lodge Listing" and the 1955 "Organizational Pattern and Local Lodge Listings" published by National. Event patches for 2-F show that Mohican 178 hosted in 1953 and 1955. As there is no other documentation for this lodge, it was either a short-lived lodge name change, or a mistake made on two separate documents from National. More research is needed.

After 2-F was dissolved at the end of 1963. Wakanta 84 and Mohican 178 were returned to 2-B, while the remaining six lodges were transferred to Area 2-A. This is despite lodge listings by Price, Reynolds, and Weary that lists Area 2-F existing up until 1972.

In 1956, Area 2-J was organized on a experimental basis. In November, 1957 the five NYC lodges as well as Chappegat 15, Hanigus 47, Shinnecock 360, Buckskin 412 met at Camp Ranachqua, TMR. This appeared to be a one-time event or planning meeting, as the area wasn't formed until two years later.

In 1967, the NYC councils (Bronx 372, Brooklyn 369, Manhattan 384, and Queens 371) were consolidated into the Greater New York Councils #640. However, according to Councils of the BSA, Staten Island Council 396 didn't merge until 1968. It also showed that "Greater New York Council #719" had already been in operation since 1936, so I am not sure how that worked.

In 1960, Puerto Rico Council changed its name to Puerto Rico-Virgin Islands Council #661. In 1965, the US Virgin Islands were split off from the Puerto Rico-Virgin Islands Council, and formed the new Virgin Islands Council #410, in St. Thomas, VI.

On Jul 17, 1965, members from Buckskin 412 held the first Ordeal to induct the arrowmen for Arawak Lodge #562, which was chartered 1966.
